Fix & Go facility prepares for opening

Fifteen months after joining Fix Auto UK, the owners of Fix Auto Wigan are preparing to open the network’s latest Fix & Go express repair facility.
The franchisee is the second in six weeks to reveal a six-figure investment, which will see a dedicated Fix & Go express repair centre opened in order to increase productivity.
Being built just yards away from Fix Auto Wigan’s main centre, the new facility will stay true to the ‘hub and spoke’ ethos of the Fix & Go philosophy. The plan being, if all goes to schedule, repairs will be able to commence from the new site by the end of September 2018.
Managing director Andy Sankey explained, ‘When I saw this new building taking shape just yards away I stood back and thought it would be a perfect Fix & Go site. Fortunately, my fellow directors instantly recognised its potential too and here we are developing our own, brand new facility. To say it’s exciting is an understatement.’
The new 7,500sqft building will also house a dedicated alloy wheel refurbishment facility.
