Autoglass and Bibby Distribution partner

Autoglass has been appointed as the preferred Vehicle Glass Repair and Replacement (VGRR) supplier for Bibby Distribution as part of a new three-year partnership.

Autoglass was awarded the new contract following a competitive tender process, in which it impressed Bibby Distribution with its equipment, reporting and service. The partnership will see Autoglass provide vehicle glass repair and replacement services, including ADAS calibration.

Autoglass will maintain Bibby Distribution’s fleet of 1,100 vehicles through regular fleet checks, wiper replacements and management information.

The new partnership is set to deliver significant reductions in vehicle downtime across Bibby’s entire fleet, as well as cost savings. The total cost of ownership approach provided by Autoglass focuses on service levels, reduction of breakage and revisit rate whilst improving repair rates.

A core component of the partnership will see Bibby Distribution deliver vehicle glass across the UK to the 36 combined sites of Autoglass and Laddaw, its wholesale division, through an overnight delivery service.
