Fix & Go opens in Loughborough

It has been 18 months in the planning and nine in the making but Fix Auto UK’s latest Fix & Go express repair facility is now fully operational and open for business.

Developed by Fix Auto Loughborough owner Paul Smith following a £500,000 investment, Fix & Go Loughborough will operate alongside his traditional and well-established repair centre.

Housing a four-bay STL moveable spraybooth and five productives along with Fix Auto Loughborough’s administration team, the 11,000 sqft centre is already processing 35 vehicles a week, with the aim to surpass 50.

The new centre is the first Fix Auto site in the UK to fully adopt the new branding that is currently being introduced throughout the network. In creating the site, Paul has also invested heavily by developing customer focused facilities including a hi-speed internet connection and work area for customers to use.

Commenting on the development Paul said, ‘While there will always be a place for a traditional bodyshop capable of completing severe repairs, I see the Fix & Go express concept, where we aim to repair each vehicle within three days, as the future of our industry.

‘I have been committed to adopting the new branding with the Fix & Go Centre, where all of our repairs are managed centrally and, depending on the severity of damage, they are then triaged to the relevant facility. Many of our customers have already commented on how impressed they are with the new look.’

Paul, who was one of the first 10 franchisees to join Fix Auto UK, also paid tribute to being part of the network. He added, ‘I joined the network in 2005 with a belief and vision that we would develop into a market-leading organisation – I believe we are achieving that goal. Having such confidence and commitment in the network has fuelled my investment in our Fix & Go facility. This new site will add further strength to our entire proposition.

‘I wouldn’t be here today if it were not for the support and commitment of all involved here at Fix Auto Loughborough, particularly my General Manager Rachel Jobburn who has been a major driving force behind making it all happen.’

Fix Auto UK owner Bob Kirstiuk added, ‘What Paul and his team have achieved with this latest Fix & Go bodyshop raises the bar to another level. He was one of our founding franchisees here in the UK and has long been an industry leader and innovator by constantly adopting new ideas, technology and processes to ensure the best in customer service for all of our clients.  This latest centre is just typical of his achievements and is a tremendous testament to Paul. I also congratulate him on being the first to fully adopt the new brand.’
