Motorpoint cuts ribbon on 20th site

Independent retailer Motorpoint has officially opened the doors of its 20th store.

Based in Ipswich, the new site strengthens Motorpoint’s footprint in the East of England, where it already has its Motorpoint Peterborough store and preparation centre, and has already created around 30 new jobs.

Simon Castle, Motorpoint Ipswich’s general sales manager, said: “After months of hard work and preparation we are absolutely thrilled to have finally opened the doors of our fantastic new Motorpoint store and to become the 20th site in the Motorpoint network.”

Motorpoint’s sales and service manager Dean Vinyard, added: “I am super enthusiastic and equally excited to be part of the leadership team for this incredible new Motorpoint store. Motorpoint Ipswich is the best place to buy a nearly new car and it is great to be part of the Motorpoint team and a retailer that is marking its 25th birthday this year. Our Price Promise ensures we can always provide unbeatable prices and if our customers find the car they want in our online store we can arrange for delivery to the Ipswich site or deliver it straight to our customer’s front door.”

The new store has space for up to 120 cars from up to 30 manufacturers and as part of the store’s opening activity Motorpoint donated £1,000  to St Elizabeth Hospice and also sponsored the charity’s Midnight Walk 2023 which took place on Saturday 20 May.
