Solus celebrates its ‘biggest night’

Solus is celebrating what it’s called the biggest year in its 21-year history after winning two golds and two silvers at the UK Customer Experience Awards, as well as being named overall winner.

Solus won the Gold ‘Customer Centric Culture’ award and the Silver ‘Customers at the Heart of Everything’ award, underlining its principle of caring passionately about its customers.

The evening also saw deserved recognition for DeAnna Avis (national customer experience lead) who collected her Silver CX Professional of the Year Award, in a testament to her hard work and dedication in developing Solus’ customer centric culture.

Solus also won the Gold Award for Overall Winner, the biggest award of the night, recognising the entry with the highest score out of all the finalists, and which brought an amazing and unforgettable evening to a close.

Carl Manton, senior regional operations lead, said, ‘We are absolutely thrilled to have our efforts recognised at tonight’s awards. This award reflects our unwavering passion and dedication to putting our customers at the heart of everything we do. We have changed the environment and culture we operate in to empower our people to go the extra mile and deliver an excellent experience to all our customers.  The team has worked so hard and I’m incredibly proud of everything we have achieved.’

DeAnna added, ‘I am so proud for all the awards we have won on behalf of every colleague in the company-all of these awards and achievements are theirs! Everything we achieve is through our people and thanks to them for believing in our purpose of getting customers back to normal and making a real difference in the lives of more than 30,000 customers per year who rely on us for taking care of them when they are in their moment of need.’

Simon Smith, chief operating officer, Solus, added, ‘An amazing achievement. Being recognised against a field which included household names such as Legal and General, 02 and LV is a real feather in the cap not just for Solus, but the bodyshop industry at large.  Our success is testament to everyone that has put their heart, soul and energy into getting our customers back to normal. Every day we need to believe in our purpose, stick to our principles and believe in what we are doing.’
