SEAT has record sales growth

SEAT sales have continued to post record growth.

Between January and October, the company sold 449,000 vehicles worldwide, which is 13.7% more than in the same period of 2017 (395,100). This is the best result in the history of the carmaker.

SEAT’s worldwide deliveries are making solid progress thanks to the results in the five major European markets. Between January and October this year, Germany +16.6%, Spain +15.0%, the UK +13.1%, France +27.9% and Italy +15.7% posted double digit increases.

The all-time sales record is also reflected in the financial results. Between January and September 2018, SEAT’s operating profit rose by 54.4% to stand at the record figure of €237m. Furthermore, revenues went up by 6.7 per cent in this period to stand at €7.744bn, the highest turnover in the history of SEAT.
