MG appoints Chris Richards

MG Motor UK has appointed Chris Richards as its digital and social media manager.

Chris joins MG with extensive experience in the automotive industry, having worked for companies including McLaren Automotive and Fiat Chrysler, where he spent four and a half years in his roles as digital marketing manager and technical database and CRM manager.

Chris will be responsible for developing and implementing social media and digital campaigns which will encourage engagement with existing and potential customers. He will also help support MG dealers in harnessing the power of digital tools and social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube, to support MG through its ambitious growth objectives.

Chris commented, ‘I’m really looking forward to playing an integral part in driving the refreshed digital strategy. The recent launch of the new MG3 in August, and the record sales performance achieved this year, show just how quickly the company is progressing to become an industry leader in high-spec affordable motoring.’
