Fix Auto launches online estimator

Fix Auto UK launches a new online platform enabling retail customers to request an estimate for repairing their vehicle from their smartphone.

Developed to provide a direct and convenient link between motorists and their local Fix Auto repair centres, the online system also features a simple back office interface to help Fix Auto franchisees to easily administer the rising volume in retail enquiries that it receives.

The platform is available both on and every Fix Auto bodyshop’s own website via a ‘Get An Estimate’ link, where the customer is taken through a series of three steps – provide their registration number; upload images of the damaged area; and supply contact information.  Once submitted, the enquiry will be sent straight through to the customer’s local Fix Auto bodyshop.

Ian Pugh of Fix Auto UK, said, ‘Many motorists are simply too busy to take the time to visit a repair centre to enquire about repairing minor damage like a dent in a door or a scuff on a wheel.  This new platform means they can supply high quality images of a specific area of damage using a mobile device at any time of day or night, and our bodyshops can quickly provide them with an estimate.’
