Here we speak to one of our proud sponsors AutoFlow, managing director Chris Yates,  about his thoughts and experience with the bodyshop Event & Awards.

 

What are you most looking forward to about the bodyshop Event & Awards?

I am really looking forward to meeting up with our customers first and foremost. The chance to meet the team they’ve forged such close working relationships with is a rare and invaluable opportunity and being able to showcase our latest developments and future projects is a source of pride for my colleagues and a way of getting crucial ‘first glance’ feedback on how we’re implementing solutions to their day to day challenges.

How has the Event & Awards benefited you in previous years?

I personally have been attending this event with AutoFlow for many years and it’s been an interesting journey to watch how this event has grown and evolved. In the early years we viewed the event as a sales opportunity, a great way to meet new customers and sell the latest developments in our product range but as we are now firmly established in the industry we view the event as more of an opportunity to connect with our current customers. It also presents a great way to meet other suppliers to the industry, sharing news whilst opening opportunities for collaborations on new projects.

What experience does the Event provide?

The event is always professionally run with industry suppliers improving year on year with the quality of presentations and in many cases the interactive entertainment they provide at their stands. I think that the event offers a relaxing environment to network and meet up with customers outside of the normal hustle and bustle of our working days. With so many different channels of communication open to us in these modern times, having the opportunity to meet people face to face is both a very important and essential experience of the event.
