ACIS develops Europcar repair tracking

ACIS has developed a bespoke and enhanced repair tracking technology for Europcar as part of its renewal as the preferred supplier of paint and consumables into its approved bodyshop network in the UK.

The technology, which builds upon Europcar’s existing bodyshop priority system, will boost efficiency by allowing the rental company to more accurately manage repairs, reduce key-to-key times and get hire vehicles back on the road more rapidly, a factor that will, in turn, provide greater choice to customers.

Ian Parry, Europcar’s fleet motor damage manager, said, ‘We have worked with ACIS for the last three years and have been impressed with the added value offerings and levels of proactivity which have helped us to enhance our productivity.

‘The new tracking technology will help us to reduce the key-to-key time even further because we will know in real time where a car is and when it will be available to get back on the road, which will help us to manage customer expectation and demand, as well as save us money,’ he added.
