Webinar: The Apprenticeship Levy explained
RMI Bodyshops (NAB & VBRA) has teamed up with REMIT Training to put together a webinar, available over mobile devices, explaining the apprenticeship levy.
Taking place next Tuesday from 11am to 12pm, the webinar will provide participants with a vital information cascade, and will have interactive involvement, allowing those taking part to ask questions if they wish.
Kathryn Gundle, quality and accreditation manager for REMIT Training will be delivering the webinar. She said, ‘We are delighted to be working with RMI Bodyshops to deliver this webinar, and keen to support those Bodyshop owners who will be directly or indirectly affected.
‘We have made it our business to understand the Apprenticeship Levy, monitor the updates and develop clear and simple guides for employers, to help break down the detail, and offer clarity on what this means to each and every business we work with.
‘I believe that the webinar can be of real benefit to the RMI members and the sector as a whole.’
The new apprenticeship levy comes into place in April 2017. Although a lot of bodyshops will not be directly affected by the employer levy, there are numerous other funding and process changes that bodyshops need to be aware of.
