Ford ties up with Vision

Ford Motor Company Ltd has signed up to roll out Vision’s Bluegrasscoms.

Vision provides Bodyshops with access to genuine, discounted parts from vehicle manufacturers. The portal is now live with 13 vehicle manufacturers, totalling 64% of the vehicle parc.

Chris Setz, vice president, Bluegrasscoms, said, ‘Vision was created to provide a flexible, scalable service that can be tailored to match specific requirements. It extracts the entire crash repair estimate from the bodyshop’s own estimating system.

‘This data comes directly into the Vision office at which point the required parts are looked up, priced and the availability is checked.’

He continued, ‘This collaboration with Ford Motor Company Ltd represents an exciting addition to our existing prestigious portfolio of manufacturers on the Vision programme.’
