The show has proved to be a reliable partner for the market even in times of economic difficulty. The biannual trade fair celebrated its 10th edition in 2018\, where about 400 exhibitors and 30\,000 visitors are expected to showcase their products on 35\,000 sqm. \nThis biennial four-day event\, was originally scheduled to run in November 2020 but was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

DESCRIPTION:The 46th WorldSkills Competition\, previously scheduled for September 2021 and then 12–17 October 2022\, has been cancelled because of mainland China Covid restrictions. \nTo ensure that the decision to change the date will not impact participants\, the WorldSkills General Assembly unanimously approved a one-time change in the age eligibility criteria for the competition. If a competitor was age-eligible for the WorldSkills Competition 2021\, then they will also be eligible for 2022. \nIt was also agreed that the WorldSkills Conference\, which runs parallel to the competition bringing together leaders in education\, government\, business\, and industry from around the globe\, will take place 13-14 October.
