Morelli on PAS2060 path

Morelli is working with ECA Business Energy to help its customers become carbon neutral in accordance with PAS2060.

A statement said: “Our aim is to be carbon neutral and reduce our carbon emissions through offsetting the carbon used by our branches nationally, through high quality certified carbon credits. The most pressing aim is to help protect the environment whilst reducing our energy use through the reduction in needless travel.

“As the UK’s largest independent bodyshop supply group we felt it was important to go through this process with many of our customers who have recently started the journey with ECA. Prior to the pandemic Morelli had been using online meeting software for our sales and manager’s meetings to reduce travel nationally throughout the Group. most of the senior management are now in electric or hybrid vehicles and we are trialling vans to find the right solution for our fleet of delivery vehicles that currently accounts for the majority of our carbon usage.”
