Copart completes York expansion

Copart has completed a seven-acre expansion of is York Operations Centre.

Phil Briggs, Copart UK’s director of operation centres, transport and engineering, said: “We’re delighted to announce the completion of a seven-acre expansion at this location, which will further strengthen our storage capacity for customers operating in the North.

“This expansion will provide annual storage capacity for around 50,000 vehicles at our York Operation Centre and will enable us to continue providing our industry leading services in this part of the UK.”

Jane Pocock, managing director of Copart UK & Ireland, said: “Having recently announced our new location in East Kilbride, Scotland, the completed expansion of our York Operation Centre is yet another strand of Copart’s investment into strengthening our services in the North.
