Key appointment for Cooper Barnes

Cambridge-based vehicle body repairer Cooper Barnes Ltd has appointed Phil Cracknell in an operational business management role.
He he will work alongside MD, Matthew Cooper and VDA Chris Thexton.
Phil said, ‘I quickly realised that Cooper Barnes is on the way up and as an independent, its business values are ones that I identify with, customer service, excellent repair standards and regard for staff.’
Matthew added, ‘We moved to our significantly larger premises just under two years ago and have enjoyed steady business growth. It became clear that as an expanding operation we needed to bring in ‘bigger’ company experience to compliment and add value to our existing team of seventeen. Phil’s knowledge and philosophy dovetailed precisely with our culture’.
Cooper Barnes, based in Linton, Cambridge has agreements with the major fleet management companies and a growing number of manufactures approvals. Its services include, body and mechanical vehicle repairs up to 3.5 tonne vans. Four-wheel alignment, tyre sales plus a host of other services.
