Wednesbury site joins Fix network

Fix Auto UK recently demonstrated its strategy of having potential franchisees poised to join the network with Wednesbury-based Central Accident Repairs.

The 27,000sqft repair centre which also has an IMI training academy on site, will now operate as Fix Auto Wednesbury Central, immediately replacing the previous incumbent Fix Auto Wednesbury repair centre that has operated in the territory since 2014. The appointment ensures a seamless transition for insurer clients.

With a repair capacity currently sitting at close to 200 vehicles a month, the business operates a specialist classic vehicle restoration service along with an express repair facility and holds vehicle manufacturer approval statuses for Peugeot, Suzuki and MG.

Director Darren Roberts said, ‘We have created a premier repair facility and training academy that spans every motorists’ need but there’s no denying that being part of a network is the future of our industry. We have watched Fix Auto UK grow over recent times and we have long wanted to be part of it. Unfortunately, until now, our territory wasn’t available. We jumped at the opportunity as soon as we discovered the previous Fix Auto site was resigning.’

Head of Fix Auto UK’s franchise development, Mark Hutchins said, ‘When the owner of Fix Auto Wednesbury, which has served the network extremely well since joining in 2014, outlined he was taking his business in a new direction and scaling back his repair operation, we contacted Darren and his fellow directors who have been wanting to join for some time.

‘Central Accident Repairs is a well-established site. The team is extremely ambitious and driven which makes them a perfect fit for joining the network. To me, the whole exercise demonstrates just how strong the desire for businesses wanting to join the network is.’
