Volvo names its High Achievers

Volvo Cars Poole & Poole Accident Repair was the big winner at the Volvo High Achievers Awards last night.

It received the Volvo High Achiever Recognition Award for 2017, adding to the Large Bodyshop of the Year accolade it collected at the bodyshop Awards in 2017.

It was commended for consistently performing well in all areas of the competition criteria, and for embracing the Volvo programme so completely from the moment it joined the network.

Alongside the overall winner, Volvo also recognised its outstanding achievers in eight regions of its network.

In region one, SMW Belfast and Agnew Accident & Repair Centre was named Volvo High Achiever.

Rybrook Chester & Inchcape Accident Repair Centre collected the award in region two, despite only being part of the network for two years, while Marshall Cambridge & Marshall Bodyshop Cambridge edged out Marshall Milton Keynes & Perfect Paint to take the award in region three.

Sturgess of Leicester and Sturgess Bodycraft collected the High Achiever award in region four.

In region five, the top performing sites changes places each quarter, but the leading three remained the same, meaning Donalds of Ipswich & DJ Mackenzies received the award just ahead of Lookers Colchester & Chaplane, and Bells Bedford & Autocrash.

Meanwhile, Volvo Cars North London & AD Williams of High Wycombe came out on top in region six, with Hildenborugh performing well in the second half of the year.

Kastner Exeter & Sowton Body Repairs was the winner in region seven, closely followed by Truro Motor Company & KJ Rule and Listers Worcester & Reynolds of Rushock, while Volvo Cars Poole & Poole Accident Repair added to its overall victory by winning the region eight award as well.

The awards ceremony ended with two more categories – Lookers Colchester & Chaplane won the wildcard group, created to recognise the highest ranked bodyshop out of the regional winners, while Volvo Cars Slough & Citygate Slough Body & Paint Centre was named the Best Newcomer.
