SMH appoints new head of inspections

SMH Fleet Solutions has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Mark Elliott as head of inspection services.
In this position, based at the company’s new 40,000sqft £16m facility in Bedford, Mark will focus on the next stages of growth for SMH Fleet Solutions, with the emphasis on training as well as delivering consistent customer service.
SMH Fleet Solutions, part of Arctos Holdings Group which includes Hudson Kapel and CD Auction Group, is one of the UK’s largest providers of inclusive services for vehicle manufacturers, franchise vehicle dealerships, as well as support services for leasing and rental companies together with fleet vehicle providers.
Mark Elliot joins SMH Fleet Solutions with 25 years of experience in the automotive repair sector. He previously headed up inspections at Manheim as well as holding a senior position at BCA. Mark was also chairman of the National Association of Motor Auctions grading committee and helped support training initiatives at the BVRLA.
