Shortlist selected for CitNOW awards

CitNOW has announced the shortlisted entries that will compete to win at its 2018 Video Awards ceremony next month.

The shortlisted entries will compete to win in the workshop, sales, overseas and most creative categories, as well as the Best Overall CitNOW award.

Over 948 personalised video presentations were submitted, and in many cases retailer groups demonstrated consistent best practice across their sites, with some achieving multiple nominations across different categories, including TrustFord Belfast and TrustFord Tamworth who will compete to win in the best workshop CitNOW category.

Lookers is among the dealerships to beat, with four outlets competing to win across the sales, workshop and most creative categories with videos featuring Jaguar Land Rover, Seat and Nissan.

Prestige independent retailer Alexanders Prestige will be in the running for the sales category, while two Renault dealerships will compete in the creative category.

In the overseas category, which has seen over 120 entries whittled down to just eight nominations, Mercedes-Benz has seen dealerships in Madrid and Cork nominated.

The judging panel included Steve Nash, CEO of IMI, Jeremy Bennett, associate editor of AM, and Sabina Hegarty, managing director of Calibre Group Solutions.
