Revolution Wheels continues expansion

Revolution Wheels International has acquired two further units on the Sherwood Energy Village as part of its expansion programme to satisfy the demand for its new range of race wheels.

Following a successful exhibition of its wheels at Autosport International earlier this year, the pressure has been on to cope with the demand.

As most of the wheels that Revolution supply are custom finished, it is not simply a matter of so-called ‘box shifting’, as managing director, Warren McKiernan explained, ‘Our wheels are all specially designed to be fit for purpose, using the most advanced computer programmes including FEA and FEM. Manufacturing is equally sophisticated, using modern flow-forming casting techniques to give a precisely balanced and durable wheel.’

The finishing touch for the wheels is where the offset is machined to suit each customer’s vehicle requirements.

With a history going back over 50 years, Revolution Wheels are not resting on its laurels and, for its many dealers and distributors, this expansion is the start of the next stage in the carefully planned evolution of the company.
