React acquire first bodyshop

React Accident Repair Group have acquired Brian Tindall Paint & Body Shop Hull, the first of several acquisitions planned for the new group.

The management at React are not new players to the industry, but a collaboration of some respected figures, who have come together with a shared vision to bring back that independent, family owned ethos where the customer is truly the number one priority.

React will be headed up by John Pattinson, former regional manager at Just Car Clinics and more recently Nationwide Accident Repair, who is taking the reigns as managing director.

Other key investors in the business are Barry Whittles, former CEO of Just Car Clinics, along with his former fellow finance director, Chris Elton.

John stated, ‘The Paint & Body Shop has been owned and managed by Brian Tindall and his wife Vivian for the last 26 years, over which they have grown an outstanding business with huge reputation for quality and service.

With Brian now being ready for retirement, we saw this as a fantastic opportunity for the first acquisition at React, due to the business already having the right culture and reputation to deliver exceptional customer service.’
