Nottingham businesses invited

Nottingham businesses are invited to an event where they can drive the latest electric vehicles, on 5 October at Nottingham Racecourse.

The ‘Ride & Drive’ Electric Vehicle Showcase and Workshop is being run by the Workplace Travel Service: ULEV Experience programme, a new initiative that has been launched in Nottingham with the aim of increasing the uptake of electric vehicles, as well as improving air quality in the city.

This fully-funded half-day event will provide a comprehensive update on the latest Ultra-Low Emission Vehicles (ULEVs) available, the business case for transitioning to ULEVs, the funding support available (including a Workplace Travel Service grant of up to £25,000 to support sustainable transport initiatives), Nottingham’s investment in charging infrastructure, and there’s an opportunity to test drive a variety of the latest electric cars.

There will also be a networking lunch with the chance to discuss your businesses requirements with experts.

Fully-funded places at this event are available to any businesses in the Nottingham area that are actively considering shifting to the use of EVs or other ULEVs.
