New SsangYong dealers in Scotland

Korean 4×4 brand SsangYong is placing increased emphasis on Scotland and has appointed two new dealers north of the border – Frasers of Edinburgh, and Lawrence of Kemnay in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire.

For Frasers, this is their second SsangYong dealership having joined the brand just three years ago.  Already SsangYong is the largest dealer in Scotland with a successful base in Falkirk, the company is keen to hold on to that title with the opening of this new showroom 27 miles to the east.

Andrew Dickson, director and dealer principal of Frasers, commented, ‘The decision was an easy one to make.  While it’s quite a commitment to take on a new franchise in a capital city, we have a proven track record with SsangYong.  We know what we can do with the range and want to grow our customer base and expand.’

Welcoming both companies to the network, Nick Laird, managing director of SsangYong Motor UK said, ‘We and our dealers are focused on giving customers great service, and clearly that is what Frasers have achieved in Falkirk.  Value for money brands have historically done extremely well in Scotland, and we are delighted Frasers have decided to expand into Edinburgh, and also very pleased to now have Lawrence of Kemnay representing us further north in Inverurie; they have huge local presence and a long history of retailing.’
