Mitsubishi appoints Annette Baber Smith

Mitsubishi Motors in the UK have appointed Annette Baber Smith as the new after sales training manager, responsible for the preparation and delivery of non-technical training, both classroom, and e-learning.

Annette joins the company with over 22 years’ experience in the motor trade with a number of various brands. Starting as an apprentice technician, Annette quickly moved through parts and service advisor roles and later up to the role of service manager.

Whilst working as a service nanager in 2008 Annette completed a degree in automotive retail management at Loughborough University, and went on to become divisional contact manager for a large dealer group. Annette also has experience in aftersales manager and general manager roles and is a member of the IMI.

Talking about her new appointment Annette said, ‘I am very pleased to be joining the Mitsubishi Motors in the UK training academy at this time. I have always believed that coaching and mentoring my staff is an essential part of any managerial role, and to see people grow and fulfil their potential is particularly rewarding.’
