Leaseplan hits the road

LeasePlan UK today hosts its first Road to Net Zero Emissions event at the Electric Vehicle Experience Centre, Milton Keynes.

The event, aimed at fleet decision makers, provides information on how firms can transform their fleet to ultra low emission and low emission models, and the benefits of doing so. It will also provide information on making sure drivers have access to electric vehicles, and the necessary infrastructure.

LeasePlan UK’s managing director, Matt Dyer, will discuss ‘what’s driving the need for increasing fleet sustainability?’ whilst Nicolas Meilhan from Frost & Sullivan will be setting out the latest developments from OEMs and, following an electric vehicle ride and drive experience, Matthew Walters head of consultancy services at LeasePlan UK will be discussing how fleets can lower emissions.

Delegates will also hear via video message from LeasePlan CEO Tex Gunning, who is at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos.

As a founding member of the EV100 initiative, LeasePlan is committed to fast-tracking the uptake of electric vehicles and infrastructure. LeasePlan aims to make its entire employee fleet electric by 2021 and achieve net zero emissions from its total global fleet by 2030.
