Inchcape new site in Norwich

Acting on behalf of a joint venture between Ifield Group and Pigeon, Colliers International’s Automotive & Roadside division has disposed of a 6.3-acre site at Broadland Gate, Norwich, to Inchcape Estates Ltd for the development of a new dual-brand Jaguar Land Rover dealership facility.

Broadland Gate is set to be a high profile regional mixed-use scheme and has planning permission for further automotive, business, retail and leisure uses. It is located at the intersection of A47 and the new Norwich Northern Distributor Road and is situated within 15 minutes of the A11 south, linking to the A14 and M11.

Alisdair James, director of Automotive and Roadside at Colliers International commented, ‘Broadland Gate is arguably located in one of the most accessible commercial areas in the region. Inchcape will be developing a state of the art Jaguar Land Rover dealership facility to represent these leading brands in Norwich, which in turn will promote Broadland Gate as the new destination for motor retailing in Norwich. Given the site’s strategic location and profile to the new Norwich Northern Distributor Road, we think that this site has further potential to attract more dealerships in the future.’
