IAL transition to new ISO

International Applications (IAL) has achieved the transition to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.

The company previously earned certification under ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 and has been audited and registered annually by ACM since 2015.

International Organisation for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 is the most updated standard of its kind and focuses on quality management systems and performance. It assists companies in developing a management system that aligns quality with their wider business strategy. There is a focus on risk-based thinking and accountability in all organisational processes that helps improve communication, efficiency and implementation of continuous improvement.

ISO 14001:2015 helps organisations demonstrate environmental commitment to their stakeholders and better management of environmental impact and risk. The certification requires the introduction and maintenance of systems that ensures all employees are familiar with them and the way they operate.

Llewelyn Mulder IAL’s managing director commented, ‘We are very excited to have made the transition to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 and feel it provides additional assurance to our customers that we are focused on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. Our move from the 2008 and 2004 standards to the updated standards demonstrates our desire to always perform at the highest levels of quality and efficiency, and ensures we deliver the best customer service.’
