Gemini scoops awards double

Gemini ARC has scooped an awards double at the inaugural Auto Industry Excellence Awards claiming the Repair Garage Employer Excellence Award and the Training & Development Excellence Award.

The event, held at Denbies Vineyard in Surrey, saw Gemini named as a finalist in four categories, securing the two category wins.

David Sargeant, managing director, Gemini ARC said, ‘The whole team at Gemini contribute to the awards we win, and we are especially proud to be recognised for the hard work and commitment we have shown towards introducing and supporting young people into our wonderful industry, working with both Autoraise and Emtec to produce what we feel is the best apprenticeship in the market.

‘We now have over 40 apprentices across the group, all of which have recently gone through their initial section of the multi skilled programme completing MET.’

Part of the programme saw Gemini run a competition to coincide with National Apprentice Week for its apprentices to present what they had learnt and how they felt the scheme was working for them. A ‘best in class’ winner is due to be announced soon.
