FMG retains top 100 status

Huddersfield-based FMG has gained prominence in the fleet industry as the only company to be recognised in the prestigious ‘Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For’ guide.

The guide, a comprehensive survey of workplace engagement in Britain, has recognised FMG as a destination employer for the second year running. A best companies survey gathered the views of 420 FMG employees across key factors including wellbeing, pay and benefits, personal growth and leadership to provide a structured and accurate measure of engagement.

FMG’s people praised open and honest communication with managers and applauded continuous professional development within the business. Survey results indicate that FMG takes employee wellbeing seriously and nearly all staff stated that their team is fun to work with.

Mark Chessman, chief executive officer, commented, ‘We are extremely pleased to remain on the Top 100 list. This is testament to the huge emphasis we place on putting our people at the heart of our business and demonstrates that employee engagement continues to remain high.

‘We have enjoyed a successful 12 months and we recognise that this is down to the commitment, engagement and dedication of our people. Being recognised at a national level is particularly rewarding and we will continue to work hard to create new ways to support our people both personally and professionally.’
