Fixter launches in Cardiff

AXA-backed motoring service, Fixter, has launched its 10th city in Cardiff.

The start-up aims to take the hassle out of car maintenance by picking up and dropping off a customer’s car at a time convenient for them and communicating with garages on behalf of their users and are close to taking 1,000 jobs per month this year and have just added their 100th garage to their network.

Fixter’s site, founded in 2016, allows a user to not only book their car servicing appointments, but pick and choose a time and location for their car to be picked up and dropped off.

Fixter only works with garages which have the best reviews, have their trading history checked and have undergone a meeting with the team. With just one in 20 garages passing its tests, Fixter have announced that they have 100 trusted garages on their network.

To date, it is taking care of roughly 1,000 jobs through its site each month. Fixter have garages in major cities across the UK, including Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and Birmingham and have now added Cardiff to its roster.
