Fix Auto Malvern expands

Fix Auto Malvern has become the latest franchisee in the network to expand and open a Fix & Go express repair facility.

Owner Andrew Ridley has bought a 6,000sqft business unit neighbouring his existing 16,000sqft traditional bodyshop. He has transformed it into an express repair centre complete with a three-way moveable spraybooth and with the facility to refurbish alloy wheels.

The latest express repair centre will stay true to the ‘hub and spoke’ ethos of the Fix & Go philosophy, where heavy structural repairs will continue to be completed in the existing bodyshop and the lesser, more cosmetic, repairs will be triaged to the new site. The investment will greatly improve Fix Auto Malvern’s repair capacity.

Commenting on the development, Andrew said, ‘When I joined Fix Auto three years ago I said I’d done so with the ambition to further develop my business – here I am doing just that. Buying the building and transforming it into an express repair centre and alloy wheel refurbishment facility has been a significant investment but one I am sure I wouldn’t have made had I not been part of the network. Being part of the Fix Auto UK network gives you confidence to make these investments and I am grateful of all the advice I’ve received from fellow franchisees who have previously established Fix & Go sites.’
