Fix Auto growth continues

Fix Auto UK’s growth has continued with the network adding a third new franchisee in less than six weeks with Crossley’s Accident Repair Centre joining. It will now operate as Fix Auto Liverpool.

Owner Martin Cross, who has been repairing vehicles for the last 21 years, got the keys to the 22,000 sqft repair centre less than 12 months ago and has since invested more than £300,000 in redeveloping the site.

This investment includes purchasing the latest equipment including installing three spraybooths which are suitable for LCVs, an aluminium repair bay, recovery vehicles as well as developing an internal valeting area.

Currently, his team of 22 repairs up to 160 vehicles a month, with a goal to double that going forward.

Commenting on why he has joined Fix Auto UK, Martin, who also operates two other bodyshops in the north west, said, ‘I want to expand and grow my business, the help and support from Fix Auto UK will, I am sure, help accelerate those ambitions. The business is growing well and I have invested heavily in developing a great operation in Liverpool, and that goes for the team there too. I feel we have a lot to offer the industry. Having heard a lot of hugely positive things about Fix Auto UK from both existing franchisees and people outside of the network, I am convinced by joining we will continue to grow and succeed.’

With official Toyota approval status already secured, Martin and his team are working towards their full manufacturer approval status for the Volkswagen Group.

Head of Fix Auto UK’s franchise development, Mark Hutchins said, ‘What Martin and his team have created in Liverpool in less than 12 months is mightily impressive. He is ambitious and wants to continue to grow and progress. For me, these are fundamental credentials to being part of the Fix Auto network as we continue to drive forward. I wish them every success as part of the Fix Auto UK family.’
