Farécla 2018 apprentices competition opens

National Apprenticeship Week is here, and Farécla’s search for the nation’s top apprentice painters via its 2018 Bonnet Painting Competition is now open for entries.

The winning bonnet will be displayed on the Farécla stand at The Advanced Engineering Show (NEC, Birmingham, 31 October to 1 November), and the apprentice who painted it will pick up a cheque for £1,000 plus a Farécla polishing machine and full set of Farécla polishing products worth a further £250.

There are four other prizes to be won in the competition designed to encourage and reward excellence among the country’s current crop of apprentice painters.

Full details of all the prizes, plus the entry form and terms and conditions can be downloaded from the new Farécla website www.farecla.com/bonnet-painting-competition.

Entrants must be sponsored by either their college or their employer, so all industry colleagues involved with training are encouraged to visit and promote the competition to apprentices in their charge.
