Deadline approaching for Farécla competition

Time is running out to register for the new car bonnet competition organised by Farécla with some great prizes on offer.

The final date for registration to the contest is Friday, 6 July. Apprentices (including newly qualified car painters who complete Level 3 in 2018) must register online at farecla.com by 6 July, but they have until August 1 to submit photographs or a video of their completed car bonnet design.

There are 5 prizes to be won. First prize is £1,000 cash, plus full set of Farécla polishing materials and Farécla Polishing machine worth a further £250. Attendance with mentor (or other +1) as guests of Farécla at the Advanced Engineering Show on 31 October, 2018 at the NEC, Birmingham, where their winning car bonnet design will be displayed.

The Runner-up will receive £500, plus a full set of Farécla polishing materials. Also, two Other Finalists will win £250, plus a full set of Farécla polishing materials.

Lastly, the best video or series of photos showing the making of the bonnet will win a Go Pro camera and a full set of Farécla polishing materials for entrants who choose to record the process of creating their bonnet. This prize will be unrelated to how far the particular bonnet progresses in the competition.
