Covéa achieved CII Chartered Status

Covéa Insurance received CII Chartered Status for the third consecutive year for its Commercial Lines and High Net Worth business.

The company has also announced that all of its training courses offered to Commercial and HNW brokers and employees through its award-winning Training Academy have been fully CPD accredited by the CII.

Since Covéa Insurance first achieved Chartered Status in 2016 it has invested in the training and development of its own employees and supported brokers with developing skills to provide their customers with quality service and professional advice.

As well as the Broker Training Academy that the insurer runs for its partner brokers, Covéa Insurance has also developed a bespoke training programme for its Commercial & HNW underwriters including a Trading Skills Workshop which allows underwriters to better understand market trading conditions.

Simon Cooter, Commercial Lines and HNW director commented, ‘Professional advice is key to remaining relevant in the commercial market which is why we are absolutely committed to promoting professional standards. Chartered Status gives independent accreditation of our technical knowledge and competence, ensuring the advice we and our partner brokers provide is professionally sound.  More than this, we’ve invested to ensure that our people are fully equipped with skills they need to trade more effectively with brokers, to support mutual profitable growth of our business and theirs by doing what’s best for commercial and HNW customers.’
