Circle Leasing launches real-time mapping

Circle Leasing’s courtesy car management platform, MyFleet Vehicle Hire, has added a real-time mapping functionality.

The new feature allows desktop users of the system to track the real-time progress and location of all scheduled collections, deliveries and customer car appraisals, as well as showing the current location of all drivers.

The map also shows live traffic information, allowing office-based staff to update customers on any delays holding up its handover and the driver’s approximate arrival time.

By integrating the driver’s appraisal app with the desktop Vehicle Hire software, the system allows office-based operators to use the map to allocate new jobs to the nearest driver while they are out on the road.

Once a handover is completed on the app, all documentation related to it including accompanying photographs and video, are immediately transferred onto the Cloud-based system, providing vehicle damage assessors with an early opportunity to evaluate the extent of the incoming repair.
