bodyshop magazine backs Charity Ball

bodyshop magazine is delighted to announce that it has become one the sponsors at the third Annual Charity Spring Ball, which takes place on 21 April at The Telford Hotel & Golf Resort.

Organised by Martin Rowley of Audatex and the Morelli Group’s Paul Glover, the event aims to raise money for nominated charities AutoRaise and DEBRA.

From 50 guests at its inaugural dinner in 2016, the event this year is a 200 sell-out.

Paul said, ‘Having raised almost £12,000 in the first two years, we are now really pushing to beat that total in 2018. With the increase in guest numbers, and the fantastic auction prizes on offer we are sure we can do this. With 100% of the money raised going directly to our nominated charities of AutoRaise and DEBRA we can make a real difference.’

Both he and Martyn give up their time voluntarily to organise the Spring Ball, and are grateful to the support of all their sponsors and table bookers.

Poppy Allard, business development director at bodyshop magazine, said, ‘We’re delighted to lend our support to such a worthy event. Our industry is unique in many ways, and the efforts of Paul and Martyn to give something back and support two valuable charities only underlines that. We hope this year’s event is better than ever.’

Other sponsors include Bridge Academy (headline sponsor); Sandicliffe Motor Contracts (entertainment sponsor); Gemini Accident Repair Centres (auction and raffle sponsor); Morelli Group (table wine and golf sponsor); S&G Response (pre–dinner entertainment); and Autocraft Telford (table raffle sponsor).
