Here we speak to Ben Cardy, commercial director, Auto Industry Consulting Ltd about what he is hoping to gain in the company’s first-time sponsorship of the bodyshop Event & Awards.

 

What are you most looking forward to about the bodyshop Event & Awards as a first-time sponsor?

We don’t do much sponsorship or marketing as a business. So, for us it’s about profile, so that’s the idea of it is to raise the profile of us as a business and the products we provide. Also, we have had a recent rebranding, and this is an opportunity for everyone to see our new image.

What benefits are you hoping to see from your attendance?

Mainly to reap the benefits of a good networking opportunity, that’s generally our company’s aim. Yes, to catch-up with interesting colleagues. But also, to utilise the time during the day and take advantage of the space to attract people. We want to find more people to come and speak to us and we can show them what we do

What experience are you anticipating from the sponsorship with the Event?

It will be good to see and hear the speakers during the day, in my experience they usually are discussing topics of interest.

Would it be possible to receive a little hint or teaser as to what your stand will be?

The Auto Industry Consulting team will be demonstrating Ezi-Methods: the simple, low cost service for obtaining vehicle repair methods. Existing customers who bring in successful new customer referrals to the stand at the event will receive an Ezi-Methods Polo Shirt and a bottle of booze of their choice. Plus, Andrew and I have some new hi-tech business cards containing NFC chips that link to hidden discount codes and more.
