AW sets eyes for Derby

AW Repair Group is nearing the completion of its second Fast Finish Centre to open in Derby next month.
The 6,000sqft advanced bodyshop will handle repairs triaged by AW’s First Response Team at Sleaford, Lincolnshire HQ, where claims are handled and deployed centrally.
The fast repair technologies trialled at AW Repair Group’s Nottingham site are being replicated at the Derby site which will also include a three-way Junair multibooth allowing repair, spray & full bake in each cabin with a sliding door to minimise vehicle movements.
Other facilities include a dedicated area for alloy wheel repair with Wheel Blast Unit and prep bench, integral Minden Dust Extraction, mid-riser lifts, 1,000Lux LED lighting and radiant heating providing a quality working environment.
The site will employ a small number of multi skilled technicians, an onsite VDA and Customer Liaison Advisor.
Managing director Andrew Walsh said, ‘I’m very pleased to announce the opening of this second Fast Finish Centre. Derby is the perfect location to support our other sites in the area. Smaller repairs will be triaged to the Fast Finish Centre for quicker throughput, efficiency and customer satisfaction.’
