Alton Cars opens 14 site

Alton Cars continues to move forward with the opening of its 14 site in Nottingham which is due to be up and running by the end of November.
This is a strategic location complementing the existing sites in Mansfield and Ashbourne (near Derby). A 15 site will be added in quarter one 2019 and again geographically this will sit well within the existing locations of the group.
Both the group’s central deployment based at Barnsley and Financial hub at York have been extended to facilitate the growth to £50m in 2019.
Tony Parish commented, ‘It’s a stark contrast to when I started in 1979 under the railway arches with £300 borrowed off my mother which she had saved and put to one side for her funeral, god bless her. I am sure we will be cracking open a bottle or two of bubbly in her honour next year when we celebrate our 40 year in business.’
