Allianz Partners and Waze unite

Allianz Partners and Waze have announced an international partnership to launch an updated roadside assistance offering to over 22 million Wazers across Europe.

Drivers will be able to access an on-demand roadside assistance service powered by Allianz Partners in real-time, by one click on the Roadside Help (‘SOS’) button in the Waze app, and get support from either a digital platform or call center.

Wazers will be assisted anywhere, 24/7, in the event of a breakdown, flat tyre or flat battery, without having to hold an insurance or roadside assistance policy.

‘Waze is a community-driven app that does more than help everyone beat traffic — it also leverages the power of crowdsourced data to support drivers in times of need and distress,’ said Thomas Guignard, head of Waze EMEA. ‘It is our goal to get everyone to their destination safely, and we’ve made our existing Roadside Help offerings even more comprehensive across Europe by offering all Wazers professional roadside assistance through our exclusive relationship with Allianz Partners.’
