Allianz launches new warranty plan

Allianz Partners UK is launching new warranty services that offer more choice to motorists.

With three levels of cover, choice of excess payments and flexible payment plans, motorists can choose the warranty that suits their budget and their car.

Warranty is the latest product to be sold under the Allianz Global Assistance brand. Online, consumers can choose from Essential, Standard and Comprehensive Car Warranty packages.

Kate Walker, head of strategic market management for Allianz Partners UK, commented, ‘Allianz Partners is a leading name in used car warranty but has, up until now, only benefited customers of some of the UK’s leading motoring brands as part of their customer ownership package.

‘Now though, our proven warranty expertise is available to motorists directly, through our growing online portal of assistance services, including Roadside Assistance.  Buying a car is one of the most expensive purchases most people make, so our range of car warranty cover helps customers take care of that investment.’

All levels of warranty include European driving cover. Essential Car Warranty is the most basic level of cover, protecting the fundamental integral parts of a car including engine, gearbox and driveline components.  Customers can claim as many times as they need to up to the total of £5,000.

Standard Car Warranty adds braking and steering system cover, as well as clutch and suspension and covers the majority of the car’s factory-fitted components. The highest level of cover, Comprehensive Car Warranty, protects motorists from sudden failure of all factory-fitted mechanical and electrical components.
