ACIS appoints Ian Dalgarno

ACIS has promoted Ian Dalgarno to the newly-created role of business development director to help manage the continued growth across the organisation.

Glasgow-born Ian will head up the new business drive, a promotion ACIS will build upon with further planned strategic appointments that map the organisation’s current trajectory.

Much of the expansion is linked to the new ACIS Portal, the web-based facility through which clients can see all of their management information in real time and in one place.

Ian, who also spent 17 years with Unipart/Brown Brothers, previously headed up National Accounts within the organisation and was responsible for all levels of senior account management, looking after clients including leading insurance providers, motor manufacturers and major bodyshop groups.

Under the new structure, Ian will now focus on new business development while being supported on a day-to-day basis by Ryan O’Neill, ACIS’s manager for customer programmes.

Ian said, ‘The business is growing above expectations and I am pleased to be taking on a more strategic role within ACIS. Everything that we do now and in the future is aimed at adding value to our proposition.
