ACIS and CVP form strategic partnership

The UK and Europe’s first consolidated commercial vehicle partnership has selected ACIS as the exclusive distributor of Sikkens paint to its CV bodyshop network.

CVP (Commercial Vehicle Partnership), is the only company in the UK and Europe to be able to offer CV fleets a comprehensive range of services from market leading providers, including ACIS, the UK distributor of refinishing products and added-value web-based technology to the accident repair market, including insurance companies and vehicle manufacturers.

ACIS CEO, Graham O’Neill, said, ‘CVP represents not only a major diversification for ACIS, but for the whole industry. There are a number of synergies between the ACIS proposition and that of CVP. We are both focussed upon helping bodyshops to better help themselves and become more profitable through efficiencies and best practice customer service measurement and management.

‘In addition, CVP’s far-reaching relationships means customers using the network will get the best of all worlds – reduced key-to-key times and potential cost savings, which is imperative in the low-margin and highly competitive logistics and supply chain sector.’

CVP managing director, David Brownsword said, ‘We are delighted to have ACIS on board as a strategic partner in a commercial vehicle network that forms part of a unique and far-reaching industry first. It has taken two years to put together, but CVP is the one-stop shop offering a market- leading brand proposition to the thousands of commercial vehicle fleets toiling up and down the UK and across Europe.

‘The offering is so broad that if the customer is in the CV fleet market, CVP not only has an innovative product for them, but one that delivers greater value and efficiency. This is going to be our Unique Selling Proposition (USP) as the partnership moves forward.’
