WBC enters into administration

Bristol based WBC Automotive Ltd has entered into administration effective from 7 December 2017 with a new owner currently being sought.
The business had been ‘flooded’ with work and despite attempts to stem the flow, combined with cash flow issues, the accumulative effect saw it enter into administration.
The 22,000sqft state of the art facility, employs 41 staff and has a through put of around 100 cars per week via a variety of accident management, fleet and insurance contracts. The business holds approval for some major vehicle manufacturer brands including Jaguar, Mercedes Benz and VWG.
Manging director, David Turner, said, ‘Potential purchasers are in the process of submitting their bids to the administrators and we are hopeful a quick transaction will ensue. I would like to thank all the people that have contacted me with some very kind words, and now my focus is getting a secure future for all of our dedicated staff.’
