VQS appoints opps man

Vehicle Quality Solutions Ltd (VQS) has appointed Peter Freestone as its new operations manager.

Reporting into operations director, Steve Weston, Peter will manage all 50 of VQS’ inspectors, the UK’s largest independent vehicle inspection provider, who are either permanently based at de-fleet centres, or operate remotely across the country, as required.

Peter will also manage VQS’ IMI-approved vehicle inspection training programme at Bruntingthorpe and the subsequent recruitment of field-based inspectors into the VQS network.

‘I’m thrilled to be taking up this position at VQS at such an exciting time. With a rising number of blue-chip contracts, I’m looking forward to helping maintain VQS’ position as the leading independent inspection provider in the field,’ said Peter.

VQS’ carries out 250,000 vehicle inspections annually for rental and leasing companies, dealer groups and manufacturers, including recently-renewed contracts with FCA Group and Network Q.
