Volkswagen moves into Colchester

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has announced a new Authorised Repairer in Colchester, offering specialist support to local van customers.

Situated in the large, purpose-built Volkswagen Passenger Cars site at Colchester Inchcape, the new Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Authorised Repairer extends the number of dedicated Authorised Repairers to 25, on top of 72 full Van Centres.

The Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles team based at the Authorised Repairer will consist of service advisors, technicians and parts advisors as well as a head of business and aftersales manager.

Offering customer parking, three workbays and an MOT facility, the new Authorised Repairer in Colchester will also offer extended opening hours to meet operators’ needs.

Scott Duncan, general manager at Volkswagen Colchester Inchcape, said, ‘We are absolutely delighted to open an Authorised Repairer in Colchester. Located just off the A12 by Colchester United Football Club Stadium, the site is very accessible for customers and will offer excellent servicing and repairs by fully qualified and trained technicians.’

The Colchester site is new to the network, and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles customers would previously have had to have travelled to Ipswich or Chelmsford.
