Training academy renews CII accrediation

Covéa Insurance’s Broker Training Academy has renewed its accreditation from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), meaning brokers can claim extra credits from their participation.

The insurer’s full range of broker training activities will count towards participant’s Continuous Professional Development (CPD) under the CII scheme.

Covéa Insurance runs regular training courses for Partner Brokers throughout the year, covering a wide range of subjects including emerging risks, the connected home, digital marketing and personal safety.

The sessions are tailored to suit broker requirements and designed to help them gain a deeper understanding of the general insurance market and the technicalities that exist within it.

Rajen Savani from Coversure Insurance Services said, ‘The Covéa Insurance broker training academy offers excellent sessions on current and emerging topics which have proved of great benefit to our team of young brokers. The knowledge and understanding greatly assists our client facing staff especially when dealing with new issues.’

James Guthrie, head of distribution commercial and HNW added, ‘Our Commercial Lines and High Net Worth Broker Partners customers demand a high standard of professionalism from both their insurer and broker alike, and an in-depth technical understanding of the market is essential.  Not only are we committed to ensuring our team provide this  level of professionalism, as evidenced by our recent Chartered Status re-accreditation, but we are also committed to supporting our Broker Partners in achieving and maintaining  the highest standards of knowledge and expertise for their own staff.’
