Three is the magic number

Nationwide has three finalists in the IMI Outstanding Achievers Awards 2017.

The IMI Outstanding Achievers Awards, held on 17 October at IMI Fanshaws, has historically seen great presence from Nationwide, with our technical training and professional development academy having won Specialist Centre of the Year for the past two years running.

This year Nationwide is represented in the Specialist Centre of the Year category, as well as employee Richard Prior nominated for the Outstanding Accredited Professional category. Nationwide Apprentice, Reece Punter, from NCRC Nottingham who has been shortlisted as Outstanding Technical Student of the Year 2017 in body repair.

Technical training manager, Chris McGowan, said, ‘We have won this accolade for two years in a row now and what a dream it would be if we could make it a hat-trick. The training centre offers excellent facilities for all Nationwiders and as we continue to develop and improve, it is amazing to see our hard work is being recognised within the industry.’
